1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to nookfox.com, NookFox accounts, the availability waitlist, private testing, and related NookFox services. Account signup may be opened or limited while the product is tested and stabilized.
2. Information we collect
- Waitlist information: your name, if provided, and email address when you ask to be notified about availability.
- Account information: information such as your name, email address, account access level, authentication records, and account preferences. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides a verified email address, name, and stable account identifier used only to create, link, and authenticate your NookFox account.
- Content you provide: links, tasks, reminders, notes, weather locations, workspace settings, and other information you choose to place in NookFox.
- Connected-service information: information received from an integration only when you choose to connect or use that service. Google sign-in does not grant NookFox access to Gmail, Calendar, contacts, or Drive; those features require a separate connection and separate consent.
- Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and activity needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
- Cookies: essential cookies used for sign-in, Remember Me, security, and preferences. NookFox does not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize NookFox, authenticate accounts, save requested content and settings, operate integrations, communicate about availability or service matters, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, and develop, test, and improve the website and product.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.
4. When information may be disclosed
Information may be processed by service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, or deliver NookFox, including website hosting and email delivery providers. They receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform services for NookFox.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service from harm or misuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of the business. If ownership changes, this policy will continue to apply until it is replaced and notice is provided as described below.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and legal records, resolve disputes, and improve NookFox. Waitlist information is retained until the availability notice is sent, you ask us to remove it, or it is no longer needed. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted connections, account isolation, and security logging. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and protect your sign-in information.
7. Your choices
Signed-in users can download a readable copy of their NookFox account records and stored content from Settings. You may correct account details, close account access, ask us to delete personal information associated with you, or ask to be removed from the availability list. Closing access is not the same as immediate deletion. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, disputes, or recordkeeping.

8. Age eligibility
NookFox accounts are for people age 18 and older. We do not knowingly permit a person under 18 to create an account. Contact us if you believe an ineligible person has provided account information.
9. Changes to this policy
NookFox and this policy will evolve. We may update these terms as the product, our practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated, and material changes will be communicated through the website, the product, or email when appropriate. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to future use.
